To celebrate our 15 th anniversary, our team explored the culturally rich and food lover haven of Pampanga. This made our trip extra special as our founder, Ms. Grace Mangubat, was born here, and had plenty of beautiful and delicious memories in this place! We started our trip by visiting Apung Laring in Bacolor, Pampanga. Here, we learned how special it is to use the freshest ingredients to make the best tamales, suman, sapin-sapin, etc. We were all very fortunate to experience meeting Apung Laring herself, and to taste her delicious! We all had a chance to eat this and have coffee in Mcdonald’s!

We then went to the San Fernando Cathedral and went to the market. We’re in for a special treat as we were able to taste more of what Pampanga has to offer! We were able to see and taste their most special shrimp okoy, chicharron, burong hipon, burong tilapia, etc. We also got the chance to talk to some local market vendors who sold their best-selling longganisa and tapang kalabaw. A side-trip to L.A. Bakeshop was a MUST for us to try their most famous cheese bread, which the whole team loved!

After a delicious market tour, we went to Apag Marangle in Guagua for some more food, where the place looked just as great as how the food tasted! We were able to eat camaro (crickets), buro with hito, tapang kalabaw, etc… We then went our way to Betis Church (Santiago Apostol Parish), where we marveled at the beauty and richness of history using wood. This place was very rich as the locals were artisans using wood carvings. How amazing to see that the floor, ceiling, and chairs, were all made from wood!

After a very delicious and historically rich day, we went to our villa to check-in and head on to our 15 th Anniversary program! This was hosted by our energetic and beautiful Ms. Denise Limpiada! Our Sales Manager, Ms. Roella Glor Bulilan, helped us walk down memory lane and shared some milestones throughout our 15 years as a company. We were then provided with a song number from our very talented Mr. Eric Nedia and Ms. Jellai Ilano! Finally, we have also awarded the following team members for their unwavering support and service to the company:

• Ms. Malou Laureano, Chief Finance Officer: 15 Years of Service
• Ms. Roella Glor Bulilan, Sales Manager: 10 Years of Service

The party had just begun as our team sung and danced the night away with plenty more of music and games from our talented team members! Who knew that a team who is in the food service, can be just as talented in entertainment! Our chant of the event: “Let’s go team, yes the best!”

For the next day, we headed our way to Viskase and had a plant tour! We were all able to learn more about the company and the products that we distribute. How amazing it was to see all the casings, the machines, and the commitment of Viskase to product quality and employee safety! A big big thank you to Mr. UC Cacho, Mr. Josh Go, and Mr. Ricci Manansala.

We then visited the beautiful Lala Garden Café, where we all had some refreshing drinks and the most Instagrammable place! As the final stop, we then went to Nepo Market and tried the famous Buko Lychee Sherbet! For the company’s final surprise, all employees had the opportunity to bring home some pasalubong for their families and loved ones from Susie’s Pampanga! We all went home with full tummies, happy hearts, and a more passionate determination to serve our customers for the years ahead!
